John has been instrumental in setting up the processes and procedures integral to our growth and our reputation for openness, balance, and integrity. John embodied our organizational values, and we wish him all the best. We have begun the recruiting process for a new Vice President of Standards. In the interim, Lois Schmidt, DA, has been appointed Acting Vice President of Standards. Jennifer McGeary will retain her current title as Director of Standards and Quality but will assume additional duties, specifically relating to management of ISO and other activities, as well as maintenance of our administrative procedures. CLSI has an ambitious agenda for fiscal year 2008, which begins on 1 July, and this is an exciting time for all of us.
