Improving Access and Communications—Area Committee  Pages Added to the CLSI Website

In the coming months you will see enhancements to the CLSI website, including a more intuitive navigational design and the addition of helpful information and links.

As a first step, a new link was recently added on our home page called “Committees.”  By following this link you gain access to information about each of our nine major standards development area committees. At a minimum, you can view the committee’s mission; a list of members; all subcommittees and working groups; projects currently in development or a solicitation for new project ideas;  and a link to the CLSI online store to purchase published documents.  We will be incrementally adding content, beginning with the Microbiology Subcommittee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST).  The AST page now includes helpful information such as FAQs, additional links, upcoming educational programs, and international activities.

Our website traffic continues to grow monthly. It’s the first place members and customers look to find information about CLSI, and it represents our “face” to the world.  Please look for regular website enhancements and, as always, we welcome your suggestions for improving its content, appearance, and ease of navigation.

Glen
