Take Your Quality-Management System to the Next Level

CLSI’s Expanded Offerings Make Implementing Improvements an Easy Task

Last year, the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) successfully introduced The Key to Quality (K2Q) in an effort to enhance quality in health care testing. To complement this product, CLSI recently unveiled a series of 12 handy checklists.

The K2Q is an instructional binder and CD-ROM based on premier quality-system protocols and is closely aligned with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality management standards. It is intended to provide a better understanding of how to set up a laboratory’s quality management system (QMS) infrastructure, based on the 12 Quality System Essentials (QSEs).
