Volunteer Opportunity:
Laboratory Resident Mentors in Tanzania

CLSI entered into a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in support of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) initiatives to assist in the development and sustainability of clinical laboratory capacity in resource-constrained countries.

To further the establishment of laboratory quality systems, CLSI is currently seeking five qualified and dedicated volunteers to serve as resident mentors in Tanzania.  Each resident mentor will reside in Tanzania for an estimated period of two to three months to coordinate, support, and continuously assess and monitor the development of a quality assurance system in each assigned medical laboratory facility.
